Glen Dupree’s Homeopathic Thesaurus, is currently the only work of its kind which also serves to memorialize and honor Dr. vet. Dupree (DVM), its author. Some 3,000 terms used in older homeopathic literature are matched with their more common or modern synonyms. For example, ‘ptomaine poisoning’ -septicemia, zymotic or ‘somnolence’ -drowsiness, sleepiness, sopor or ‘hedo- nism’ -carousal, debauch, drinking, feasting, reveling or ‘snuffles’ -catarrh, coryza, hay fever or ‘icterus’ -jaundice, yellowness or ‘brain fag’ -exhaustion, prostration, etc. This thesaurus will assist you in studying the homeopathic reference works such as the repertory and materia medica: use it along with Yasgur’s homeopathic dictionary.
